• CRITICAL - COMPONENT PART ONLY: You are purchasing only the internal intermediate switch mechanism. To create a finished wall outlet, you MUST also purchase an Onesto Oracle Grid Plate and an Onesto Oracle Surround separately.
• CRITICAL - REQUIRES A SPECIFIC CIRCUIT: An intermediate switch CANNOT function on its own. It MUST be installed between two 2-way switches. A typical 3-location circuit is wired as: POWER -> 2-WAY SWITCH -> INTERMEDIATE SWITCH -> 2-WAY SWITCH -> LIGHT. For four locations, you would install two intermediate switches between the two 2-way switches.
• CRITICAL - NOT A 1-WAY OR 2-WAY SWITCH: This module has four terminals and serves a specific "crossover" function. It cannot be used as a simple on/off switch (1-way) or for two-location control (2-way).
• EXPERT PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION IS MANDATORY: The wiring for an intermediate circuit is complex and must be performed by a qualified and certified electrician who understands multi-way switching. Incorrect wiring will not work and can be dangerous.
