Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1 business days of receipt. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12 pm through Sunday, or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by 2 days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone.
Shipping rates and delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout by the relevant Courier. We endeavor to deliver all packages through the courier company within 48 hours.
Delivery Costs
We deliver shipments with an order value smaller than R40 000 using one of the following couriers:
- The Courier Guy
- ST Couriers
- ITT
- Our truck
Charges are calculated at checkout .
Shipment for goods with an order value of R40 000 or higher is delivered free of charge by our own truck / bakkie if the delivery address is within a 150km radius of Swellendam, Western cape.
Overnight delivery is only available through special arrangement of ST couriers or ITT. An additional invoice will be created for the shipment costs and needs to be paid before the goods are shipped.
Shipping to Countries on the African continent
Shipping qutes will be obtained from a relevant African courier and added to the original Invoice which must be paid fully before goods will be dispatched.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Damages
Chillnet Electrical Wholesaler is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you
received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the continent of Africa.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery
We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it is recognised as a valid address. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.
Chillnet Electrical Wholesalers will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.
Missing or Stolen Shipments
If you didn't receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please let us know as soon as possible:

We will file a claim with the shipping carrier. Local law enforcement will be involved to investigate. If the shipping company cannotl provide proof of delivery, a claim will be lodged on your behalf.
