• Battery Replacement: Only replace with new AA Alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries with this product.
• Mounting Height: Centurion Systems typically recommends a mounting height of 750mm, but this should be tailored to the specific requirements of the installation to ensure optimal detection.
• Parallel Mounting: Ensure the transmitter and receiver units are mounted on surfaces that are reasonably parallel to each other for reliable alignment, especially over longer distances.
• MyCentsys Pro App: Utilize the MyCentsys Pro app for easy pairing, configuration (e.g., Closing or Opening beams), and diagnostics.
• Alignment Process: During installation, the beam lenses MUST be fitted on the receiver as they focus the infrared beam. Do not fully screw the covers closed until alignment is confirmed. The LED indicator on the Photon SMART provides visual feedback for alignment.
