• Correct Termination: The coaxial cable behind the wall plate must be correctly stripped and terminated with a male Belling-Lee (PAL) plug to connect to the back of this module. A poor connection here is a common source of picture quality issues like "ghosting" or "snow".
• Distinction from Satellite: This is a terrestrial TV aerial socket. For satellite services like DStv or Openview, you need the Trinity Satellite Module (TSMSAT), which uses a different threaded F-type connector. They are not interchangeable.
• Isolated Version: For installations with multiple TV points fed from an amplified distributor, the Trinity Isolated TV Module (TSMITV) may be required to prevent interference between TVs. Consult with your AV installer.
