CRITICAL: Select and Install Overload Protection: These models DO NOT include a thermal overload relay. You MUST install a separate overload relay appropriately rated for your specific motor to prevent damage from overcurrent conditions. Refer to the 'Recommended Thermal Relay' specification for compatible Swan Electric series (LR2 D13xx).
Correct Sizing: Ensure the starter's kW rating matches or exceeds your motor's rating at the operating voltage (400V AC3 specified).
Wiring: Use appropriately sized conductors based on the motor's full load current (FLC) and local electrical codes. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
Mounting: Mount the starter vertically on a flat, stable surface using the designated mounting holes.
