• Mandatory Professional Installation: For your safety and to ensure regulatory compliance, this product must be installed by a qualified and certified electrician in accordance with SANS 10142-1 wiring regulations.
• CRITICAL - Use Dimmable LEDs ONLY: This dimmer is specifically designed for dimmable LED light bulbs. Using non-dimmable bulbs will result in flickering, buzzing, poor performance, and may damage both the bulbs and the dimmer module.
• Calculate Your Load: Before installation, sum the wattage of all LED bulbs that will be on the dimmer circuit. The total must not exceed 125W. For example, you can safely control up to twelve 10W dimmable LED downlights (12 x 10W = 120W).
• Bell System Wiring: The bell press function is a momentary switch. It must be wired to a compatible doorbell transformer and chime/bell unit to operate correctly. It does not produce a sound on its own.
• User Operation: Ensure the end-user understands the dual function: a firm press on the knob activates the bell, while rotating the knob turns the light on/off and adjusts its brightness.
• Avoid Mixed Loads: Do not mix different types of bulbs (e.g., LED and halogen) on the same dimmer circuit. This can cause performance issues. Dedicate the circuit to compatible dimmable LEDs only.
